About Daytona Beach Vegetarian Society

Picture
The Daytona Beach Vegetarian Society (DBVS) was started in 2007.  The mission of DBVS is to raise vegetarian and vegan awareness in the local community. The organization hopes to educate and enlighten people about the benefits of these lifestyles, including those to the animals, human health, and the planet.

Through holding a variety of educational events throughout the year, including a vegan barbeque every October, the group aims to create a vegetarian community and resource, serving all of the Daytona Beach area. The group and events are open to all those who are interested in vegetarianism (whether they are vegetarian or not).  Anyone with an interest in learning more is welcome to attend!
