About Vegetarians of Central Florida

Picture
Vegetarians of Central Florida, Inc. (VegCF) is a nonprofit corporation founded in fall 2003. The goal of VegCF is to encourage and support vegetarians and vegans in Central Florida. VegCF members are vegetarians for human health, human rights, animal rights, environmental, simple living, spiritual, religious, and cultural reasons. We welcome non-vegetarians, who we like to consider potential vegetarians.

They hold regular events, such as restaurant visits, potlucks, picnics, outdoor activities, book clubs, and humane education. The group also organize Central Florida Veg Fest in October and Central Florida Earth Day in April.

About Animal Rights Foundation of Florida

Picture
Promoting and protecting the rights of animals in Florida has been the mission of the Animal Rights Foundation of Florida (ARFF) since 1989.

ARFF reaches out to the public through demonstrations and outreach events, letters to the editor, and personal appearances by our spokespersons on radio, television, before civic groups and in school classrooms. We also promote the well-being of animals through meetings with, and campaigns directed at, industry and community decision-makers. Visit ARFF at www.arff.org.
