Northeast Florida Veg Fest

The Northeast Florida Veg Fest is an event hosted by The Girls Gone Green on the first Saturday in November in Jacksonville, Florida.  It is a day-long event of positive action where we bring together great veg-friendly food choices, compassionate non-profits and eco-friendly ideas! 

The day-long event features various healthy and sustainable foods, cooking demonstrations, live music, informed speakers and movie screenings. The best of the best organic, green, animal-friendly and wellness businesses along with various non-profits will come together to celebrate our planet and all it has to offer.

We invite everyone interested in becoming leaner, greener, or cleaner to join us for a day of family fun and positive action. We hope to see you at the next one on Saturday, November 2, 2013.

Central Florida Veg Fest

The Central Florida Veg Fest is organized by Vegetarians of Central Florida and hosted on the third Saturday of October. Central Florida Veg Fest is an exciting day of colorful and educational exhibits and events at beautiful Orlando Festival Park near downtown Orlando. There are lots of fun and interesting things going on that you will want to stay the whole day. Admission is FREE! Veg Fest is a family-friendly, dog-friendly, and smoke-free event.

Enjoy a diverse cross-section of vegetarian cuisines and lifestyles. Discover new products and ideas from over 250 vendors and contributors and enjoy a wide variety of presentations and food preparation demos. Not a vegetarian? Whether you're looking for new ideas to add color and variety to your meals or you're a "seasoned" vegetarian interested in expanding your knowledge of nutritious and ethical foods, this is the place for you.

Central Florida Earth Day

The Central Florida Earth Day is organized by Vegetarians of Central Florida and hosted on the Saturday closest to Earth Day (April 20th). The event includes healthy living and eco-friendly exhibitors, speakers, and presentations; non-profits; fun and games for kids; dog and cat adoptions; restaurant booths; environmental and humane education; artist and craft corners; and live music and entertainment. Central Florida Earth Day draws both committed environmentalists and those who want to learn more about how to protect our health, the planet, and its inhabitants. You can promote your business or group to thousands of people who want to learn more about environmentalism and the varied products and services that support an eco-friendly and a veg-friendly way of life. All money raised is used for local environmental education and outreach.

Tampa:

Tampa Bay Veg Fest

Tampa Bay Veg Fest takes place at Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park, in a beautiful setting on the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa on the second Saturday in October. The park is conveniently located across the street and to the south of the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Parking is available in the adjacent South Regional Parking Garage, located at 301 Channelside Drive.

The event — presented by Florida Voices for Animals in honor of the 30th annual observance of World Farm Animals Day — will appeal to all who enjoy tasty, healthy foods, whether or not they follow a vegetarian or vegan diet. The food booths drew rave reviews last year, and local vendors are expected to again impress attendees. The event features local restaurants with vegetarian and vegan food; live music; fun and games for kids; healthy-living and eco-friendly exhibitors; info on local nonprofits; animal adoptions; and well-known national and local guest speakers.
